Many of them begin the journey from the windy village of Lukla, where a small airfield in the mountains steep.
Weather officials in Kathmandu said the region is viewed as a region with low cloud and strong winds so the flights with smaller aircraft was difficult and risky.
"Flight with a private helicopter is very expensive and unaffordable cost of the climbers," said Mahendra Singh Thapa, senior officials climber Agency Association of Nepal.
Bikram Neupane, Head of the Himalayan Rescue Association, Nepal, said that all tourist climbers safe and not in danger.
"They did not get a flight home to Kathmandu due to bad weather," said Neupane told Reuters.
