Estadio Brigadier General Estanislao López in Santa Fe (Argentina) - This is a soccer stadium in the Argentina city of Santa Fe. It has space for 40,000 spectators and serves as a home for the club CA Colón. The Brigadier General Estanislao López stadium is also one of the eight venues for the Copa América 2011.


The Estadio Brigadier Estanislao López General in Santa Fe, a town in north-eastern Argentina, was built in 1946 and on 9 Opened in July of the year. For the first match at the new stadium met the future users of the arena, Colon CA, and Boca Juniors from Buenos Aires. The game ended before the eyes of Juan Domingo Peron and his wife Eve, with a 2-1 victory for the hosts.
