El Monumental (River Plate Stadium) in Buenos Aires (Argentina) - The Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti, better known as El Monumental or River Plate Stadium, is a sports stadium in Belgrano, a suburb of Buenos Aires in Argentina. The stadium is a stadium used for the 2011 Copa America tournament. The final of Copa America 2011 will also take place in this stadium.
Club Atlético River Plate plays its home games at the stadium. In addition, El Monumental, because it is the largest stadium in the country, the Argentine national soccer team used as a national stadium. It is named after Antonio Vespucio Liberti, a former president of the association.

The El Monumental stadium was renovated for the World Cup in 1978 and offered at that time 76 600 spectators. Nine games were played during the World Cup in El Monumental, including the opening match (Germany v Poland) and the final (Argentina vs. the Netherlands)
