Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, California (US) - The Buck Shaw Stadium is a soccer stadium in Santa Clara, California. It is located on the campus of Santa Clara University. The stadium is home to the Santa Clara Broncos soccer teams and was formerly used for football and baseball teams of the University. The football team was disbanded in 2005 and the baseball team now plays at Stephen Schott Stadium, which is also located on the campus.

Since 2008, the San Jose Earthquakes carry out their home games in Major League Soccer in the stadium.


On 22 September 1962, the Buck Shaw Stadium opened. On this day, the American football team the University of California, Davis met with the Santa Clara University. The stadium was named after Lawrence T. "Buck" Shaw, a former American football coach of the University team.

With the football World Cup in 1994, the stadium was used as a training of the Brazilian national soccer team.
