Sagarmatha National Park, Nepal (The Peak of Mount Everest)

Solu Khumbu is now located in the Sagarmatha National Park. Sagarmatha is the name given by Nepal, to the summit of Mount Everest. This park was announced in July 1976. Broad region reaches 1148 square kilometers. Besides covering Dudh Kosi river basin flow also Bhote Kosi. The altitude between 2845 meters to the highest point on earth is 8,848 meters. How to reach the top it is the easiest airport to fly to Lukla and then followed on foot to the appropriate height. If you do not want to use a plane, it can use the land route by bus to Jiri. Walk from Jiri, through Lukla to Namche Bazar at its center, the length can be 10 days. Some flights can be made to the airfield pioneer in Tumlingtar, Syangboche but this is restricted, and Phaplu.

Sagarmatha National Park protects the entire flora and fauna found there. Forbidden to use even collect wood for fire.
